Highlights of the 2011 conference included:

Highlights of the event for 2011 included front line reports from ISAF’s most senior PsyOpper, Brigadier Iain Harrison, Director of Influence and Outreach at HQ ISAF.

This set the tone for numerous tactical and operational level briefings that cover regions as diverse as Coastal Horn of Africa, the Philippines, Afghanistan and Somalia, looking at topics such as Target Audience Analysis, Measurement of Effect, community, key leader and female engagement and message credibility.

Day 2 saw key decision-makers at the strategic level, with Austin Branch, Director of Information Operations the DoD, and Air Commodore Ian Wood, Head at Targeting and Information Operations at UK MoD.

Later in the day, the focus switched to the media and new media, with speakers including the BBC Security Correpondent, Caroline Wyatt, and Thomas Elkjer Nissen of the Royal Danish Defence College.
